Don't Forget To Close the Garage

Late summer nights can cause us to forget to close garage doors and windows, so remember to double check your house when the sun sets completely. We had a strange encounter tonight: We arrived home from a trip to Costco around 9:00pm (yes it was late). My husband was busy unpacking our trunk while I washed my son. At one point my husband stepped into the house to bring a box of produce to the kitchen. At the same time a red pickup truck, that does not belong to anyone in our neighborhood, stopped infront of our driveway. A woman stepped out, walked past our front door and towards the garage. A moment later my husband opened the door, saw the women, asked if she needed directions who replied "no," then walked back to her car. What would you suspect her intentions were?

Now, we live in a VERY quiet city, a city that is ranked one of the top 3 to raise children in our state. Our crime rate is extremely low (practically non-existent) and the neighborhood we live in is a cozy little neighborhood with about 60 families and one opening to the main road so I myself find it quite shady for this woman to be wandering around taking advantage of individuals who "forgot" to close their doors. Be careful.
